Kanonkop House has 7 suites, each with a unique design. Paradise Suite, on the top floor, has views of the private forest and Knysna Lagoon, an oversized king bed (convertible to twin), a seating area, and a bathroom that features a slipper bath and walk-in shower with separate toilet. Forest Suite has views of the lagoon and forest from its private deck. It includes a king-size bed (convertible to twin), a lounge, and a bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate toilet that looks into the private fern forest, where guests may see Bushbuck, Mongoose, and Porcupine. Sunbird Suite opens onto the garden and has views of the forest and lagoon. It includes a king-size bed (convertible to twin), a lounge, and a dressing room. Diamond Suite, designed by Arno Joubert, features a bedroom with an extra-length king-size bed (convertible to twin), a lounge, and an indoor/outdoor bathroom, with views of the forest and lagoon. All suites come equipped with ironing facilities, heating, tea/coffee facilities, a mini-bar, a sitting area, a terrace, a trouser press, a patio, free Wi-Fi, and garden furniture.

Breakfast includes cooked options, egg dishes, fresh fruits, and homemade muesli, and is served on the breakfast terrace or indoors. Kanonkop House offers seafood braai (barbecue) evenings. The menu includes Knysna oysters, line fish, and prawns.
